DJ Mitsu The Beats (디제이 미츠 더 비츠)는 이미 우리에게도 친숙한 일본 힙합 트리오Gagle의 핵심 멤버이자 일본 힙합씬에 새로운 이정표를 제시했다는 평가를 받고 있는 디제이이다. 시부야 레코드샵이자 크리에이터 레이블인 Jazzy Sport Productions 설립자이기도 한 그는 1994년 월드 디제이 챔피언쉽인 DMC에 반해 디제이의 길로 입문, 묵묵히 비트메이킹에서 활동해오다가 2003년 솔로앨범 [New Awakening]을 성공적으로 발표하였다. 이후 일본뿐 만 아니라 미국, 유럽, 한국 등 투어를 돌며 새롭게 정의한 자신만의 힙합 스타일을 펼쳐나가고 있다. .... ....
