There are times when days of extreme helplessness persist for various reasons. In my case, what allowed me to overcome that state was not the temporary motivation gained from grandiose plans or ambitious goals but the small daily achievements and the happiness they brought. I will continue to compliment myself greatly for accomplishing sustainable menial tasks. I can wake up in the morning, make my bed, eat a proper meal, and wash the dishes right after eating every day. How awesome is that! ....
