INTRODUCTION
TUCK & PATTI의 음악세계가 집결된 베스트 PURE TUCK & PATTI 미공개곡 "TEARS IN HEAVEN"수록, 미드 프라이스MID PRICE! 턱 앤 패티, 턱 앤드레스기타와 패티 캐스카트보컬, 두 사람의 조합은 단순하지만 최상의 것이다. 윈드햄 힐 레이블에서 88년에 발표한 데뷔 앨범 는 그들이 무대에서 쌓아온 준비가 헛되지 않은 것임을 보여주는 뛰어난 작품이었고, 이들은 이후에도 순항하며 계속 활동을 해오고 있다.
기타와 보컬에 있어 뛰어난 테크닉과 표현력을 소유하고 있는 이들이지만 그것을 앞세우지 않고 사이 좋게 대화하듯 자연스러운 음악을 만들어 낸다. 자연의 음이 주는 감동이 바로 이들의 음악에 존재한다. 이 앨범은 그들의 데뷔작인 "TEARS OF JOY"에서 2000년 작품인 "TAKE THE LONG WAY HOME"에 이르는 윈드햄 힐 재적시절의 레코딩들을 정리한 컴필레이션이다.
스티비 원더의 "IF IT'S MAGIC"에서 거쉬윈의 작품 "THEY CAN'T TAKE THAT AWAY FROM ME", 죠니 미첼의 곡 "WOODSTOCK", 신디 로퍼의 곡 "TIME AFTER TIME" 등을 자유자재로 소화하는 패티의 보컬 또한 완벽하지만 지미 헨드릭스의 클래식 "CASTLES MADE OF SAND/ LITTLE WING", 수많은 재즈맨들의 스탠더드 "BODY AND SOUL" 등을 연주하는 턱 앤드레스의 기타는 늘 그렇듯 놀라움을 안겨다준다. ....  ....
