독일 출신의 청년 막시밀리안 헤커는 맨 처음 드러머로 음악을 시작했다. 여러 밴드의 드러머를 하는 와중 갑자기 자신의 음악을 하고 싶어진 그는 모든 밴드 활동을 중지하고 오로지 자신만의 음악을 만들기 시작한다. 진심을 담아 녹음한 그의 데모는 처음 30장만을 만들었는데, 그 30장 중 한 장을 듣고 막시밀리안 헤커의 상업성을 발견한 키티-요(Kitty-Yo) 레이블에서는 그의 곡[Cold Wind Blowing]을 영화 [알래스카(alaska.de, 2000)]의 사운드트랙에 수록하면서 그의 이름을 처음으로 공개한다-참고로 영화 [알래스카]는 현재 한국에 수입된 상태로 있으며 곧 공개될 예정이라고 한다-. 사운드트랙을 통해 막시밀리안 헤커는 주목을 받기 시작하며 그 당시 정규 앨범이 가장 기대되는 아티스트로 떠오르게 된다. ....  ....
