Cozy Jazz 의 진수를 보여주는 4th Album [Fall in Love] 韓?日 동시 발매!! ‘재즈 스타일리스트’라는 칭호와 함께 세계로 도약하고 있는 재즈 디바 웅산의 “Fall in Love “ 는 깊어가는 가을의 정취와 함께 그녀의 음악적 성숙미를 느낄 수 있는 통산 네번째 정규 앨범이다. cozy jazz의 편안함과 아늑함, 그리고 세련미를 가득 담은 총 13곡을 선보이는 이번 앨범은 한.일 양국에서 진행된 빅프로젝트 앨범이며, 웅산 자신의 프로듀스 하에 최고의 아티스트와 스텝이 모여 만들어낸 역작이다.
이번 앨범은, 웅산의 싱어송라이터로서의 탄탄한 역량을 느낄 수 있는 자작곡 don’t cry를 포함해, 우리 가요 중에 숨겨져 있던 명곡(어느새, 매일 그대와, 미소를 띄우며 나를 보낸 그 모습처럼)과 주옥 같은 팝의 명곡(퀸의 crazy little thing called love, 마이클 프랭스의 tell me all about it 등)을 한 데 아울러 다채로운 재즈 넘버들을 그녀만의 스타일로 재해석한 것이 특징이다. 또한, 이번 앨범의 전체적인 어레인지 구성 상의 치밀함은 몇 번을 들어도 질리지 않으며, 웅산의 세심한 면모와 그녀의 성숙한 매력을 동시에 확인시켜준다. 이러한 그녀의 행보는 단순한 재즈 아티스트의 차원을 넘어서, 여러 장르의 융합을 통한 음악적 해석을 시도하는 등, 재즈의 대중화를 위해 스스로가 자처한 재즈 전도사로서의 끊임없는 노력을 느낄 수 있게 한다.
이번 앨범은 일본 굴지의 음반 회사인 포니캐년과의 공동 작업으로 진행되었으며, 한.일 양국에서 녹음이 이루어졌다. 또한, 이번 한국에서의 발매에 이어 일본에서도 세번째 앨범을 10월 중에 발표할 예정이다. 포니캐년 재팬이 한국의 재즈 가수와 계약을 맺은 것은 매우 이례적인 일이라고 할 수 있는데, 이 기회에 웅산이 한일 양국의 재즈 음악 교류의 중심에 서서 가교가 되어주길 기대해 본다. 그녀를 통해 국내 아이돌 스타에만 국한되어 있던 한류 열풍이 재즈에까지 이어졌으면 하는 바람이다. ....  ....
