Yes, it's a good day for singin' a song, And it's a good day for movin' along; Yes, it's a good day, how could anything go wrong, A good day from mornin' till night.Yes, it's a good day for shinin' your shoes, And it's a good day for losin' the blues; Ev'rything to gain and nothin' to lose, 'Cause it's a good day from mornin' till night.I said to the sun, "good mornin', sun. Rise and shine, today" You know you've gotta get goin' If you're gonna make a showin' And you know you've got the right of way'Cause it's a good day for payin' your bills; And it's a good day for curin' your ills, So take a deep breath and throw away your pills; 'Cause it's a good day from mornin' till night. |

I remember when I was a very little girl, our house caught on fire. I'll never forget the look on my father's face as he gathered me up in his arms and raced through the burning building out to the pavement. I stood there shivering in my pajamas and watched the whole world go up in flames. And when it was all over I said to myself, "Is that all there is to a fire" Is that all there is, is that all there is If that's all there is my friends, then let's keep dancing Let's break out the booze and have a ball If that's all there isAnd when I was 12 years old, my father took me to a circus, the greatest show on earth. There were clowns and elephants and dancing bears. And a beautiful lady in pink tights flew high above our heads. And so I sat there watching the marvelous spectacle. I had the feeling that something was missing. I don't know what, but when it was over, I said to myself, "is that all there is to a circus? Is that all there is, is that all there is If that's all there is my friends, then let's keep dancing Let's break out the booze and have a ball If that's all there isThen I fell in love, head over heels in love, with the most wonderful boy in the world. We would take long walks by the river or just sit for hours gazing into each other's eyes. We were so very much in love. Then one day he went away and I thought I'd die, but I didn't, and when I didn't I said to myself, "is that all there is to love?"Is that all there is, is that all there is If that's all there is my friends, then let's keep dancingI know what you must be saying to yourselves, if that's the way she feels about it why doesn't she just end it all? Oh, no, not me. I'm in no hurry for that final disappointment, for I know just as well as I'm standing here talking to you, when that final moment comes and I'm breathing my lst breath, I'll be saying to myselfIs that all there is, is that all there is If that's all there is my friends, then let's keep dancing Let's break out the booze and have a ball If that's all there is |

Never know how much I love you,
Never know how much I care. When you put your arms around me, I get a fever that's so hard to bear. You give me fever, When you kiss me, Fever when you hold me tight. Fever! In the morning, Fever all through the night. Sun lights up the daytime And moon lights up the night.. I light up when you call my name And you know I'm gonna treat you right You give me fever When you kiss me, Fever when you hold me tight. Fever! In the morning, And fever all through the night Everybody's got the fever That is something you all know Fever isn't such a new thing Fever started long ago Romeo loved Juliette Juliette she felt the same When he put his arms around her he said, 'Julie, Baby , you're my flame 'Thou giveth fever 'When we kisseth 'Fever with thy flaming youth 'Fever! I'm afire, 'Fever, yeah, I burn, forsooth.' Cap'in Smith and Pocahontas had a very mad affair When her daddy tried to kill him She said, 'Daddy, oh, don't you dare! 'He gives me fever 'With his kisses 'Fever when he holds me tight 'Fever! I'm his misses, So 'Daddy, Won't you treat him right?' Now you've listened to my story, Here's the point that I have made: Chicks were born to give you fever, Be it Fahrenheit or Centigrade They give you fever When you kiss them Fever if you live and learn Fever! 'till you sizzle what a lovely way to burn what a lovely way to burn what a lovely way to burn what a lovely way to burn |

You gotta have heart
All you really need is heart When the odds are saying you'll never win That's when the grin should start You gotta have hope Mustn't sit around and mope Nothing's half as bad as it may appear Wait'll next year and hope When your luck is battin' zero Get your chin up off the floor Mister, you can be a hero You can open any door There's nothing to it But to do it You've gotta have heart Miles and miles and miles of heart Oh, it's fine to be a genius, of course But keep that old horse before the cart First, you gotta have heart We're so happy that we're hummin' That's the hearty thing to do 'Cause we know our ship will come in So it's ten years overdue So what the heck's the use of cryin' Why should we curse Things can only get better `Cause they can't get worse And to add to it We've got heart We've got heart We've got heart We've got heart All you really need is heart When the odds are sayin' you'll never win That's when the grin should start We're so happy that we're laughin' That's the hearty thing to do So we ain't been autographin' 'Cept to sign an I.O.U. We've got heart Miles 'n miles n' miles of heart Oh, it's fine to be a genius of course But keep that old horse before the cart Who minds those pop bottles flyin'? The hisses and the boos The team has been consistent Yeah, we always lose But we're laughin' 'Cause we've got heart We've got heart We've got heart |

Let me tell you about a boy I know
He is my baby and he loves me so Every morning before the sun comes up He brings my coffee in my favorite cup That's why I know, yes I know Hallelujah, I just love him so When I'm in trouble and I have no friends I know he'll go with me until the end Everybody asks me how I know I smile and tell them he told me so That's why I know, oh, I know Hallelujah, I just love him so Now if I call him on the telephone And tell him that I'm all alone By the time I count from one to four I hear him on my door In the evening when the sun goes down When there is nobody else around He kisses me and he holds me tight He tells me "baby everything's all alright" That's why I know, yes I know Hallelujah, I just love him so O yes I know, yes I know Hallelujah, I just love him so Now if I call him on the telephone And tell him that I'm all alone By the time I count from one to four I hear him on my door In the evening when the sun goes down When there is nobody else around He kisses me and he holds me tight He tells me "baby everything's all alright" That's why I know, yes I know Hallelujah, I just love him so Hallelujah, I just love him so Hallelujah, I just love him so |

I Enjoy Being a Girl
I'm a girl and by me that's only great I am proud that my silhouette is curvy that I walk with a sweet and girlish gait With my hips kind of swivelly and swervey I adore being dressed in something frilly When my date comes to get me at my place Out I go with my Joe or John or Billy Like a filly who is ready for the race When I have a brand new hairdo With my eyelashes all in curls I float as the clouds on air do I enjoy being a girl When men say I'm cute and funny And my teeth aren't teeth but pearls I just lap it up like honey I enjoy being a girl I flip when a fellow sends me flowers I drool over dresses made of lace I talk on the telephone for hours with a pound and a half of cream upon my face I'm strictly a female female And my future I hope will be In the home of a brave and free male who'll enjoy being a guy, having a girl like me When men say I'm sweet as candy As around in a dance we whirl It goes to my head like brandy I enjoy being a girl With someone with eyes that smolder Says he loves every silken curl That falls on my ivory shoulder I enjoy being a girl When I hear a complementary whistle That greets my bikini by the sea I turn and I glower and I gristle But I'm happy to know the whistles meant for me I'm strictly a female female And my future I hope will be In the home of a brave and free male who'll enjoy being a guy, having a girl like me |
