What goes up must come down
Spinning Wheel got to go 'round Talkin' 'bout your troubles It's a cryin' sin Ride a painted pony Let the Spinning Wheel spin You got no money, you got no home Spinning Wheel all alone Talkin' 'bout your troubles and you You never learn Ride a painted pony Let the Spinning Wheel turn Did you find your directing sign On the straight and narrow highway Would you mind a reflecting sign? Just let it shine within your mind And show you the colors that are real Someone is waiting just for you Spinning Wheel spinning true Drop all you troubles by the river side |

You'll never know just how much I miss you
You'll never know just how much I care And if I tried, I still couldn't hide my love for you You ought to know, for haven't I told you so A million or more times? You went away and my heart went with you I speak your name in my every prayer If there is some other way to prove that I love you I swear I don't know how You'll never know if you don't know now (You went away and my heart went with you I speak your name in my every prayer) If there is some other way to prove that I love you I swear I don't know how You'll never know if you don't know now You'll never know if you don't know now |

I reach for the stars
When I reach for your love For so far above me you always will be Like a clown longs to be a king in a play I long for the things that are so far away I reach for the stars When I reach for your hand But stars tumble down From the clouds to the land When you come to my arms In that moment devine All the stars in the sky Are mine, all mine I reach for the stars When I reach for your hand But stars tumble down From the clouds to the land When you come to my arms In that moment devine All the stars in the sky Are mine, all mine |

You sheltered me from harm
Kept me warm, kept me warm You gave my life to me Set me free, set me free The finest years I ever knew Were all the years I had with you I would give anything I own Give up my life, my heart, my home I would give everything I own Just to have you back again You taught me how to love What it's of, what it's of You never said too much, but still you showed the way And I knew from watching you Nobody else could ever know The part of me that can't let go And I would give anything I own Give up my life, my heart, my home I would give everything I own Just to have you back again Is there someone you know You're loving them so Taking them all for granted? You may lose them one day Someone takes them away And they don't hear the words you long to say I would give anything I own Give up my life, my heart, my home I would give everthing I own Just to have you back again Just to touch you once again |

You know that it would be untrue
You know that I would be a liar If I was to say to you Girl, we couldn't get much higher Come on baby, light my fire Come on baby, light my fire Try to set the night on fire The time to hesitate is through No time to wallow in the mire Try now we can only lose And our love become a funeral pyre Come on baby, light my fire Come on baby, light my fire Try to set the night on fire, yeah The time to hesitate is through No time to wallow in the mire Try now we can only lose And our love become a funeral pyre Come on baby, light my fire Come on baby, light my fire Try to set the night on fire, yeah You know that it would be untrue You know that I would be a liar If I was to say to you Girl, we couldn't get much higher Come on baby, light my fire Come on baby, light my fire Try to set the night on fire Try to set the night on fire Try to set the night on fire Try to set the night on fire |

Yesterday When I Was Young
Herbert Kretzmer Yesterday when I was young the taste of life was sweet as rain upon my tongue. I teased at life as if it were a foolish g ame, the way the evening breeze may tease a candle fl ame. The thousand dreams I dreamed, the splendid things I planned I always built alas on weak and shifting sand. I lived by night and shunned the naked light of the day and only now I see how the years ran away. Yesterday when I was young so many drinking songs were waiting to be sung, so many wayward pleasures lay in store for me and so much pain my dazzled eyes refused to see. I ran so fast that time and youth at last ran out, I never stopped to think what life was all about and every conversation I can now recall concerned itself with me and nothing else at all. Yesterday the moon was blue and every crazy day brought something new to do. I used my magic age as if itwere a wand and never saw the waste and emptiness beyond. The g ame of love I played with arrogance and pride and every flame I lit too quickly quickly died. The friedns I made all seemed somehow to drift away and only I am left on stage to end the play. There are so many songs in me that won't be sung, I feel the bitter taste of tears upon my tongue. The time has come for me to pay for yesterday when I was young. |

What now my love?
Now that you've left me How can I live Through another day? Watching my dreams Turning to ashes And my hopes Into bits of clay Once I could see Once I could feel Now I'm numb I've become unreal I walk the night Without a goal Stripped of my heart My soul What now my love? Now that it's over I feel the world Closing in on me Here come the stars Tumbling around me There's the sky Where the sea should be What now my love? Now that you're gone I'd be a fool To go on and on No one would care No one would cry If I should live Or die What now my love? Now there is nothing Only my last Good-bye (transcribed by Roman ) ------------- Lyrics Powered by LyricFind Written By CARL SIGMAN, GILBERT BECAUD, PIERRE DELANOE, AKA PIERRE CHARLES MARCEL LEROYER Lyrics © Universal Music Publishing Group |

No, no regrets
No, we will have no regrets As you leave, I can say Love was king, but for only a day No, no regrets No, let there be no regrets Why explain Why delay Don't go away Simply call it a day Pleading moments we knew I will set them apart Ev'ry word, ev'ry sign Will be burned in my heart But no tears will be shed There'll be no one to blame Let it always be said We attempted what came No, no regrets No, we will have no regrets As you leave, I can say Love was king, but for only a day Life still goes on Yes, even though love has gone One last kiss Shrug and sign No Regrets even though it's goodbye |

Where do I begin?
To tell the story of how great a love can be The sweet love story that is older than the sea The simple truth about the love he brings to me Where do I start? Like a summer rain That cools the pavement with a patent leather shine He came into my life and made the living fine And gave a meaning to this empty world of mine He fills my heart He fills my heart with very special things With angels' songs, with wild imaginings He fills my soul with so much love That anywhere I go, I'm never lonely With him along, who could be lonely I reach for his hand, it's always there How long does it last? Can love be measured by the hours in a day? I have no answers now, but this much I can say I'm going to need him till the stars all burn away And he'll be there He fills my heart with very special things With angels' songs, with wild imaginings He fills my soul with so much love That anywhere I go, I'm never lonely With him along, who could be lonely I reach for his hand, it's always there How long does it last? Can love be measured by the hours in a day? I have no answers now, but this much I can say I'm going to need him till the stars all burn away And he'll be there |

Poets often use many words
to say a simple thing It takes thought and time and rhyme to make a poem thing With music and words I've been playing For you I have written a song to be sure that you'll know what I'm saying I'll translate as I go along Fly me to the moon and let me play among the stars Let me see what spring is like on Jupiter and Mars In other words, hold my hand In other words, darling kiss me Fill my heart with song and let me sing forever more You are all I long for, all I worship and adore In other words, please be true In other words, I love you Fill my heart with song and let me sing forever more You are all I long for, all I worship and adore In other words, please be true In other words, I love you |

I, I who have nothing
I, I who have no one Adore you and want you so I'm just a no one, with nothing to give you but oh I love you You, you buy her diamonds Bright, sparkling diamonds But believe me, dear, when I say That she can give you the world (sometimes: That you can give her the world) But she'll never love you the way I love you You can take her any place she wants To fancy clubs and restaurants But I can only watch you with My nose pressed up against the window pane I, I who have nothing I, I who have no one Must watch you, go dancing by Wrapped in the arms of somebody else When darling it is I Who love you |

Funny how a lonely day, can make a person say:
What good is my life Funny how a breaking heart, can make me start to say: What good is my life Funny how I often seem, to think I'll find never another dream In my life Till I look around and see, this great big world is part of me And my life This is my life Today, tomorrow, love will come and find me But that's the way that I was born to be This is me This is me This is my life And I don't give a damn for lost emotions I've such a lot of love I've got to give Let me live Let me live Sometime when I feel afraid, I think of what a mess I've made Of my life Crying over my mistakes, forgetting all the breaks I've had In my life I was put on earth to be, a part of this great world is me And my life Guess I'll just add up the score, and count the things I'm grateful for In my life This Is my life Today, tomorrow, love will come and find me But that's the way that I was born to be This is me This is me This is my life And I don't give a damn for lost emotions I've such a lot of love I've got to give Let me live Let me live This is my life This is my life This is my life |

Diamond Are Forever
Diamonds are forever, They are all I need to please me, They can stimulate and tease me, They won't leave in the night, I've no fear that they might desert me. Diamonds are forever, Hold one up and then caress it, Touch it, stroke it and undress it, I can see ev'ry part, Nothing hides in the heart to hurt me. I don't need love, For what good will love do me? Diamonds never lie to me, For when love's gone, They'll lustre on. Diamonds are forever, Sparkling round my little finger. Unlike men, the diamonds linger; Men are mere mortals who Are not worth going to your grave for. I don't need love, For what good will love do me? Diamonds never lie to me, For when love's gone, They'll lustre on. Diamonds are forever, forever, forever. Diamonds are forever, forever, forever. Forever and ever. |

Goldfinger, he's the man, the man with the Midas touch A spider's touch Such a cold finger beckons you to enter his web of sin But don't go in Golden words he will pour in your ear But his lies can't disguise what you fear For a golden girl knows when he's kissed her It's the kiss of death from Mister Goldfinger, pretty girl, beware of this heart of gold This heart is cold Golden words he will pour in your ear But his lies can't disguise what you fear For a golden girl knows when he's kissed her It's the kiss of death from Mister Goldfinger, pretty girl, beware of this heart of gold This heart is cold He loves only gold Only gold He loves gold He loves only gold Only gold He loves gold!!!!!! |

Love, look at the two of us
Strangers in many ways We've got a lifetime to share So much to say And as we go From day to day I'll feel you close to me But time alone will tell Let's take a lifetime to say "I knew you well" For only time Will tell us so And love may grow For all we know Love, look at the two of us Strangers in many ways Let's take a lifetime to say "I knew you well" For only time Will tell us so And love may grow For all we know Strangers (,strangers, strangers) For all we know |

Tonight, I gave the greatest performance of my life
I never lost control, I played the part so well That not a single soul could tell that I was lying And so, though it was hard to face our friends, I gave a party I know I meant to show them all, I've gotten over you And though I saw the unbelieving looks on all their faces I had to try to make them think that it was true So I, who had me dance, dance through the night, just like the gypsy And I who seldom drink, drank like a fish till I was high, and I Who hadn't laughed since God knows when, out laughed Pagliacci Till they believed it more than even I Tonight, I gave the greatest performance of my life I never lost control, I played the part so well That not a single soul could tell that I was lying But love, if you had been behind the curtain, when it fell When all the lights were out and I was all alone You would have seen this actress crying Yes, tonight, I gave the greatest performance of my life I never lost control, I played the part so well That not a single soul could tell that I was lying But love, if you had been behind the curtain, when it fell When all the lights were out and I was all alone You would have seen this actress crying |

There was a boy...
A very strange enchanted boy. They say he wandered very far, very far Over land and sea, A little shy and sad of eye But very wise was he. And then one day, A magic day, he passed my way. And while we spoke of many things, Fools and kings, This he said to me, The greatest thing you'll ever learn Is just to love and be loved in return. And then one day, A magic day, he passed my way. And while we spoke of many things, Fools and kings, This he said to me, The greatest thing you'll ever learn Is just to love and be loved in return. |

Where are you? Why do you hide?
Where is that moonlight trail that leads to your side? Just like the moonraker goes in search of his dream of gold I search for love, for someone to have and hold I've seen your smile in a thousand dreams Felt your touch and it always seems You love me, you love me Where are you? When will we meet? Take my unfinished life and make it complete Just like the moonraker knows His dream will come true someday I know that you are only a kiss away I've seen your smile in a thousand dreams Felt your touch and it always seems You love me, you love me |

The liquidator
Will soon be coming around You won't feel safer Until you get out of town He's an eraser He'll rub you out like a light And for a chaser He'll kiss your woman goodnight He's a jackal and a Romeo, you know The devil in disguise There's no telling where a girl would go, you know To gaze into his eyes With the snapping of the fingertips of him He'll take your life away And a whisper from the smiling lips of him Will take your wife away The liquidator Will soon be getting to you You'll wake up later Somewhere up in the blue The undertaker Would never try to deny That the liquidator Is a hell of a guy The liquidator |

Tall and tan and young and handsome
The boy from Ipanema goes walking And when he passes, each girl he passes goes aah When he walks, he's like a samba That swings so cool and sways so gently That when he passes, each girl he passes goes aah Oh, but I watch him so sadly How can I tell him I love him Yes, I would give my heart gladly But each day when he walks to the sea He looks straight ahead, not at me Tall and tan and young and handsome The boy from Ipanema goes walking And when he passes, I smile But he doesn't see And when he passes, each girl he passes goes aah And when he passes, each girl he passes goes aah Oh, but I watch him so sadly How can I tell him I love him Yes, I would give my heart gladly But each day when he walks to the sea He looks straight ahead, not at me Tall and tan and young and handsome The boy from Ipanema goes walking And when he passes, I smile But he doesn't see No he doesn't see Oh, poor little me Why can't it be |

Something in the way she moves
Attracts me like no other lover Something in the way she woos me I don't want to leave her now You know I believe and how Somewhere in the smile she knows That I don't need no other lover Something in her style that shows me I don't want to leave her now You know I believe and how You're asking me will my love grow I don't know, I don't know You stick around and it may show I don't know, I don't know Something in the way she knows All I have to do is think of her Something in the things she shows me I don't want to leave her now You know I believe and how (Thank you very much) |

I'd like to run away from you ,but if you never found me I would die
I'd like to break the chains you put around me, but I know I never will You stay away and all I do is wonder why the hell I wait for you But when did common sense prevail for lovers when we know it never will Impossible to live with you, but I know, I could never live without you For whatever you do I never, never, never want to be in love with anyone but you You never treat me like you should, so what's the good of loving as I do? Although you always laugh at love, nothing else would be good enough for you Impossible to live with you, but I know, I could never live without you For whatever you do I never, never, never want to be in love with anyone but you You make me laugh, you make me cry, you make me live, you make me die, for you You make me sing, you make me sad, you make me glad, you make me mad, for you I love you, hate you, love you, hate you But I'll want you till the world stops turning For whatever you do I never, never, never want to be in love with anyone but you I love you, hate you, love you, hate you But I'll want you till the world stops turning For whatever you do I never, never, never want to be in love with anyone but you I love you, hate you, love you, hate you But I'll want you till the world stops turning For whatever you do I never, never, never want to be in love with anyone but you -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
