10년의 뉴욕 활동 끝에 내놓은 'JOONSAM'의 데뷔앨범. 2016년 뉴욕의 대표적인 재즈 클럽 블루노트와 스몰스에서 발매 공연을 가진 그가 한국에서 음원을 발매하였다. 미국의 재즈 전문 잡지인 DOWNBEAT와 JAZZ TIMES에서 세련된 작곡/오케스트레이션과 섬세한 감성으로 호평을 받은 그의 앨범은 발매 직후 미국의 재즈 라디오 WBGU, WVCR, KSJS 등에서 방송이 되면서 활동을 이어갔다.
Aaron Parks(piano), Nate Wood(drums)과 함께 짜여진 트리오 셑업에 Ralph Alessi(trumpet)과 Ben Monder(guitar)의 피처링이 앨범에 완성도를 더했으며, 특별 게스트로 '한충은'(대금/소금), 'Yvonnick Prene(harmonica)', 그리고 '신예원'(보컬)이 참여하였다.
