모노톤과 라핀, 이 둘은 최근 1년 반 남짓한 시간동안 이 곡을 들은 주변인들에게 이 말을 가장 많이 들었다.
'그래서 이거 멜x에서 들을 수 있어?', '언제 발매할거야?'
2018년 초, 모노톤과 라핀이 사운드클라우드를 통해 공개했던 곡을 4명의 프로듀서들이 재해석, 리믹스 앨범으로 발매되었다.
당시 모노톤이 가벼운 마음으로 쓴 곡에 라핀이 가벼운 마음으로 피쳐링한,
모든 과정이 3시간도 채 안걸린 번개곡이었지만
의외의 꾸준한 호평을 얻어내며 둘의 인생곡이 되어버렸고(....)
둘은 '진짜 발매를 해야하나..' 라는 생각을 하게되었다.
기존 버전에 쓰인 비트의 출처를 찾지 못해
리믹스 프로젝트로까지 이어진 건 아이러니
