Ground zero는 사전적인 의미로 핵폭탄이 터지는 지점 곧 지상에 닿는 지점을 의미한다 하지만, 우리가 막연히 생각만 하는 어딘가의 그곳 보다는, 나에게는 실제로 그곳에 가서 지상에 발을 내딛는 곳, 닐 암스트롱이 달에 최초로 발을 내딛던 것과 같이 실제로 도전하고 발을 내딛는 그곳이다. 부정적이기 보다 긍정적인 의미로, 새로운 것 새로운 곳 등에 도전하는 정신의 실제 행동이라고 생각해 보았다.
