실타래에 묶여있는 인형이 음악에 맞춰 춤을 추는 모습을 그렸습니다.
시키는 대로 즐겁게 몸을 움직이는 듯 하지만, 반대로 인형은 자신을 조종하는 끈으로부터 도망쳐 자유로워지고 싶어합니다.
그러나 음악이 끝나갈 무렵 결국 실패하고 말죠.
겉으로는 표정을 알 수 없는, 어쩌면 항상 슬픔을 안으며 관객의 앞에서 억지로 춤을 출 수 밖에 없는 인형의 마음을 상상하며 연주했습니다.
It was composed to remind me of a doll tied to a thread dancing to the music.
It's as if it's moving merrily as it's told.
In fact, the doll runs away from the strap that controls it.
It wants to be free.
But at the end of the music, it finally fails.
With an outward expression, perhaps always sad, forced to dance in front of an audience.
I played it imagining the mind of the doll.
