트와이스가 10월 1일 데뷔 첫 영어 싱글 'The Feels'(더 필스)를 전 세계 동시 발매한다.

트와이스는 앞서 미니 9집의 동명 타이틀곡 'MORE & MORE'(모어 앤드 모어)를 시작으로 정규 2집 'Eyes wide open'(아이즈 와이드 오픈)의 타이틀곡 'I CAN'T STOP ME'(아이 캔트 스톱 미), 디지털 싱글 'CRY FOR ME'(크라이 포 미) 등 영어 버전 음원을 발표하고 글로벌 팬들의 응원에 화답해 왔다. 이번에는 첫 디지털 영어 싱글 'The Feels'를 통해 끊임없는 노력의 결실을 증명하고 월드와이드 행보에 가속 페달을 밟는다.

신곡 'The Feels'는 빠른 템포의 디스코 팝 장르로 그루브한 베이스 사운드와 디스코 신스 비트 등 다양한 구성으로 이루어진 중독적 멜로디가 특징이다. 트와이스는 첫눈에 반했을 때의 설레고 행복한 감정을 노래한다.

'The Feels'는 ’KNOCK KNOCK‘(낙 낙), ’What is Love?‘(왓 이즈 러브?), 'Feel Special’(필 스페셜) 등 트와이스 히트곡에 손길을 더한 이우민(collapsedone)이 작사, 작곡을 맡았다. 여기에 유수 K팝 그룹과 작업한 저스틴 라인슈타인(Justin Reinstein)과 안나 팀그렌(Anna Timgren)이 합세해 곡의 완성도를 높였다.

또한 브루노 마스(Bruno Mars)와 작업한 프로덕션팀 더 스테레오타입(The Stereotypes)을 비롯해 벨기에 출신 DJ 이비스비(Yves V)가 리믹스한 트랙을 각각 수록해 듣는 재미를 배가했다.
