서울이라는 이 섬은, 어항 속에 떠 있었다.
너와 나는 그것을 지켜보며 말言에 눈이 멀었다. 우리들을 위한 잔을 부딪힌다. 긴 시간을 마셨고 심장은 축배로 가득 찼다. 봄의 가지와 꽃들이 네가 되며 자라날 때 나는 흔들리고 있
었다. 그리고 침묵한 언어의 잎사귀 하나하나에 매달려 시간을 세었다.
나무 아래 죽음을 찾아 솟아오른 검은 우물, 달빛으로 심장을 씻어내고 부는 바람으로 갈증을 채우던 밤. 깊게 숙인 가지들 사이로 본 적 없는 흰 비둘기가 날아오른다. 검은 물이 출렁인다. 멈춘 섬이 흔들린다. 우리는 그 섬 위를 날고 있다. 새 위에 앉아 우물 안의 서울을 지켜본다.
이것이 자유!
결코 있어본 적 없는 하지만 손에 쥐고 있던.
꽃과 나뭇잎으로 충분하다.
저녁의 빛과 목소리를 받아들이기엔,
이젠 손안의 자유와 함께하세요.
작은 살구꽃이 쥐여준 씁쓸한 자유의 열매,
말의 결실 結實.
