Share your own photos ACTIVE: 1930s - 1980s BIRTH: 1909년 05월 30일 / 미국,시카고 DEBUT: 1931년 / It's not worth your tears DEATH: 1986년 06월 13일 / Jun 13, 1986 in New York, NY [Manhattan] STYLE: 재즈 팝 PROFILE: 1909 5월 30일 시카고 태어남 1919 한 유태계 음악학교인 케헤라 야곱 시냐고그에서 첫 음악 수업받음. 1924 오스틴 고등학교 밴드에서 폴돌스키, 빅스 베이더벡, 아트 카젤 등과 연주활동 시작. 1925 밴 폴락 밴드에서 솔로이스트로 연주시작. 1928 첫 데뷔 레코딩 Hes the Last Word 발매 1929 폴락 밴드와함께 뉴욕으로 이주. 1934 12조 악단 창단 굿맨 밴드 창단(3 섹소폰, 3 트럼펫, 2 트럼본, 4 리듬악기) 1935 굿 맨밴드의 유명 드러머인 진 크루파와 녹음작업, 이른바 스윙 시대　를 열었으며 전설 같은 베니 굿맨의 시대를 예고함. 1939 밴드로는 처음으로 카네기 홀에서 벨라 바르톡과 폴 힌데미스의 헌정곡 연주. 1941 건강악화로 밴드해체. 1955 유니버셜과 인터내셔널 스튜디오에서 사운드 트랙으로 베니 굿맨 오리지널 스토리 제작 1961 유럽, 남미 그리고 구소련 순회연주(1962) 1996 사망했지만 밴드리더, 클라리넷티스트, 스윙의 제왕등 재즈와 클래식 클라리넷 연주의 전설로 자리매김함. .... ....
