원래 법학을 전공한 그는 컴퓨터 프로그래머 생활을 하기도 했고 1970년대 후반부터 1980년대 중반까지 큐브스(Cubes) 스캐터브레인(Scatterbrain) 등의 밴드에서 활동하며 프로그레시브 록, 뉴 웨이브, 테크노 등 다양한 장르를 섭렵하며 경력을 쌓았다. 1986년 스튜디오를 설립한 이래 주로 광고 및 영화, 뮤직 비디오, TV 사운드트랙 등의 음악을 주로 만들어왔고 1993년의 솔로 데뷔 앨범 SLOW DOWN에서 싱글 커트된 Photograph가 덴마크 차트 1위에 오르며 Standing in the rain, A game you can't control, Mirror on the wall 등의 곡들이 널리 사랑을 받았고 우리나라에서도 역시 좋은 반응을 받았다.
