라디오헤드(Radiohead)는 영국 옥스퍼드셔 주 애빙던에서 결성된 얼터너티브 록 밴드다.
1992년 첫 번째 싱글 앨범 《Creep》을 발매했다. 이 곡은 초기에 큰 인기를 얻지 못했으나 그들의 데뷔 앨범 Pablo Honey가 발매된 이후 몇달이 지나서 인기를 얻기 시작했다. 라디오헤드의 인기는 1995년 그들의 두 번째 정규 앨범 The Bends가 영국에서 발매되면서 오르기 시작했다. The Bends는 짜임새 있는 기타 구성과 보컬 톰 요크의 팔세토 창법으로 비평가와 팬들의 좋은 성원을 받았다. 1997년에 발매된 라디오헤드의 세 번째 정규 앨범 OK Computer는 그들을 세계적인 스타로 만들었다. OK Computer는 현대적 소외감을 주제로 광대한 사운드를 사용하여 1990년대 명반 중 하나로 손꼽히게 되었다.
네 번째 정규 앨범 Kid A(2000)와 다섯 번째 정규 앨범 Amnesiac(2001)은 실험적인 일렉트로닉, 크라우트록, 포스트 펑크, 재즈의 영향을 받아 그들의 음악적 역량이 발달하였음을 보여주었다. 비록 대중의 평가가 나뉘었지만, 그들은 여전히 인기있었다. Hail to the Thief(2003)는 기타를 중심으로 한 록과 일렉트로닉을 구사했고 신문의 헤드라인에서 영감을 받아 작사를 했다. 이 앨범은 대형 음반사 EMI와의 마지막 앨범이 됐다. 라디오헤드는 음반사와의 계약 없이 독자적으로 일곱 번째 앨범 In Rainbows(2007)을 그들의 홈페이지에 디지털 음반으로 소비자들이 자신이 원하는 가격-심지어 무료로도-에 다운받을 수 있도록 발매하였다. 이후 정식 발매된 후 차트에서도 성공을 거뒀다.

어떤 식으로든 지산은 절대 잊을 수 없는 곳이 되었다. 라디오헤드, 하면 이젠 울면서 Creep을 듣던 고등학교 시절이 아닌, 핸드폰, 지갑, 아이팟, 선크림2개가 들어있는 가방을 통째로 잃어버리게 한 폭도들(?)이 생각나게 되었다. 그렇다. 난 라디오헤드가 십몇년만에 처음으로 내한공연을 한 지산에서 첫 곡을 시작하자마자 확 밀치는 무리들 때문에 확 넘어졌고 그 사이에 가방을 잃어버렸다 ㅠㅠ 제기라아랄!! 그나마 안 죽고 살아있는 게 다행인것이 5-.....

Radiohead - The Best Of Radiohead - 라디오헤드 (Radiohead) 노래/이엠아이(EMI) 라디오헤드가 뭐가 아쉬워서 베스트 앨범을? 하는 사람도 있겠지만 애증 관계였을 레이블과 계약 끝내면서 내는 결산 앨범같은 거라서 이들의 의사와는 별 상관없이 나오는 베스트 앨범일 것이다. 이 앨범 말고도 2장짜리 베스트 앨범이 또 있는데 1씨디는 트랙이 동일하고 2씨디에서 실험적인 트랙들 중심으로 꾸며져 있는 것이 다르다. 요즘 다.....
