I try to see through your eyes
But life keeps changing the view Are we so unalike? It's a boy's life after all.. It's a boy's life Afterall. Have I really forgotten The way I felt at fifteen? When things were taken for granted, It's a boy's life after all... It's a boy's life Afterall. |

The light is fading The cause invading all the hopes that you were building on tomorrow Now you must go. So stretch your wings, as nature sings her farewell lullabye to soothe you through the changes When you must go. The gift is knowing your strength in going when the time has gone beyond your heart's desire, and you must go. |

Nod and a Wink
Goodnight tired little eyes. Time to climb the wooden hill. Sleep tight safe in the night. Wander through your dreams at will. The stars are awake and blinking their silvery tears on the moon. Don't be afraid, for carpets of magic can fly through the sky. It will take you wherever you wish, but come back to me the same way that you leave. In day or night, in dark or light, just come back to me the same way that you leave. Then you can always find me in your dreams. |

Flying high on a cloud Born on the air, spiral around So busy making circles You never touch the ground You see the sea, feel the sky Don't know where you go when you die Don't know the answers To what's in my mind Riding on the wind and turning with the tide Life takes you up, it brings you down Changes the pain that remains Keep moving fast, though the wind and the rain And if the world keeps spinning round You'll be back again |

Graceful in all her ways Folding the hillside Turning the sky from night into day She won't fail to take my breath away So soft this silence She brings before the dawn A time of twilight When all the world waits to be reborn Nobody knows her name No one knows how she came to be here at all Giving her loving Hoping to everyone Old as the hills Young just like the rising sun over fields That lie away beneath her feet Ev'ry time we meet She takes my breath away |

Standing on the crosswalk - wonder which direction to go. Listen to the smalltalk - claiming how they told me so. I improvise, have to keep going for the song and the road. A lonely rise, now i'm relying on a song of my own. Early on detected - Trouble had divided in two. Acting unaffected - reflecting on the things i do. A solo rise, have to keep going for the song and the road. Temptation sighs, leave us a memory we've loved and known. Fighting the lead - I was so confused feeling so accused. A solo rise - have to keep going for the song and the road. Temptation sighs, leave us a memory we've loved and known. What can i do? |

Wake-up,
Wake-up, wake-up Signs tell the time you're wasting. Wake up wake-up, wake-up Life you will find is changing. O the city life, endless confusion. Hanging on too tight, to this illusion... I'm not what I appear to be. I couldn't take the honesty, It seemed to be... too easy for reality. O the city life, what have I come to? Faces in the night, friendly to fool you. I always try to justify, the way I am and wonder why I couldn't be... the same to you I am to me. |

Every Sunday morning, before daybreak
Down upon the farm, on the fishpond All the little ducks, they go paddling Look out goldfish your for breakfast Sunday morning hear the churchbells ringing High up in the trees the birds were singing In the dewey grass spiders spinning Rooster calls and cocks his doodle All around the farm animals stirring Through the morning mist the bulls are beefing In the grassy meadows cows are munching Daisy Bell it's time for milking There's such a lot to be done on the farm In the sunshine, and when it's lunchtime It's hop down the pub for a pint Back on the tractor to finish the plowing Standing all alone, Fred the scarecrow Hasn't got a clue how the wheat grows Doesn't mind the rain, hates the cold though Specially when those icewinds blow snow All along the lane, bees are buzzing Little furry things in hedgerows scurrying In amongst the corn the bunnies are bouncing Must have springs upon their feet Behind the cowshed The plowman is taking a peek At the farmer's daughter Who's hanging her undies in the sun Better get on your boots and join us Down on the farm Down here on the farm It's a lovely day for country walking The vicar's on his bike, Billy's skateboarding The farmer and his dog out back shooting The gun goes off and hits the tweeting (or: its stopped tweeting) Lots of smelly stinks around the farmyard Great big pile of sh..t behind the rhubarb Sitting in his pram, baby bunting Does a *BURP* and starts his grunting Give him a drink, he's gone pink Wants his mummy, needs changing I think Such a lot can be done on the farm In the sunshine And when it's lunchtime It's hop down the pub for a pint Sneak out the backway with Nelly the barmaid To the woods |

It was a command long overdue that called for healthy, young men. In reply to your request, please find... I hereby protest. To the ways and means you use you know... I cannot refuse. So I'll take this vow of Loyalty. Fight for the right, You have said, To be free. When this time has run its course, I must... Live without remorse. For the deeds I'm bound to do, I know... it's all the same to you. But I won't forget the memory... Taking a life, for a life... to be free. |

Taking a life, for a life... to be free. Nude's life revolved around orders. He found himself pushed and pulled onto a crowded deck of uniformed figures who shared the same expressionless faces. Loved ones stood anxiously on the pier as the transport faded into separating mist. Water and night seemed one. Nude was going to war... Thunder cracked. Ramps hit the beach and countless boots assaulted the shore. His heart punding, Nude stumbled headlong into the undergrowth in a desperate search for refuge. Sheets of rain drenched the sunless forest as the skies opened raging down on the tiny island. Panic-stricken, Nude staggered forward and fell unconscious. Raindrops spattered from the trees onto Nude's face. Startled and confused, Nude listened in the humid silence he was alone and had no idea where he was. Worst of all, he didn't know what had become of his Regiment. The setting sin left Nude with the growing darkness of his fears. He made camp and slept with dreams of a dawn rescue, unaware that his Unit had already left the island. In wartime, one less soldier is hardly noticeable. Seasons turned with time. Nude had given up the search for his Unit but continued to move through the jungle, bayonet poised, as if a thousand eyes were upon him. Home was a cave in a hidden lagoon with abundant vegetation and fresh springs. The highest point of the island provided shelter from annual monsoon floods and sanctuary for his soul. His military duties consisted of a monthly visit to the mountain top whereupon he ceremoniously croaked the national anthem and fired one precious bullet into the air. In the loneliness he endured, Nude found an inner strength that flowed with the rhythm of instinct. |

So I'll take this vow of Loyalty. Fight for the right, You have said, To be free. When this time has run its course, I must... Live without remorse. For the deeds I'm bound to do, I know... it's all the same to you. But I won't forget the memory... Taking a life, for a life... to be free. |

Out of the mist rising
Ten thousand navajo braves Shining like golden eagles in flight Climbing high on the plains Born of the Earth set free To run away with the sun So free to sing in tune with the world Gladly dance for the rain So many moons have flown Now all your ghosts dance the long shadows War cries that died on your lips Echo above the plains |
