Stateless

Stateless (스테이트리스)는 영국 리즈 출신의 5인조 일렉트로닉 얼터너티브 락 밴드로 2003년 싱어송라이터 Chris James (보컬, 키보드, 기타)에 의해 결성되었는데, 현재는 그와 함께 이미 국내에도 알려진 Kidkanevil (턴테이블, 프로그래밍, 샘플링), Rod Buchanan Dunlop (키보드, 프로그래밍), David Levin (드럼), Justin Percival (베이스, 보컬)으로 이루어져 있다. 이들의 첫 데모 [Prism #1]가 라디오 전파를 타게 되는데 소니뮤직의 눈데 띄지만, 큰 성과를 이루지 못하고 독일 베를린 레이블 Studio !K7을 통해 첫 정규작을 발표한다. 이후 멤버 교체와 함께 유럽 투어를 마치게 되는데 때마침 리더 Chris James 가 DJ Shadow의 히트 앨범 [The Outsider]에 보컬로 참여하면서 그와 함게 20개국 80여 차례 월드투어에 참가한다. 최근 영국의 명문 레이블 닌자튠과 계약하면서 다시금 주목 받기 시작하는데, 2011년 출시예정 2집 [Matilda]에 수록될 싱글 [Ariel]의 뮤직비디오가 모션캡쳐를 이용한 비쥬얼로 큰 화제를 낳기도 했다. .... ....
