INTRODUCTION
Stateless (스테이트리스)는 영국 리즈 출신의 5인조 일렉트로닉 얼터너티브 락 밴드로 2003년 싱어송라이터 Chris James (보컬, 키보드, 기타)에 의해 결성되었는데, 현재는 그와 함께 이미 국내에도 알려진 Kidkanevil (턴테이블, 프로그래밍, 샘플링), Rod Buchanan Dunlop (키보드, 프로그래밍), David Levi n (드럼), Justin Percival (베이스, 보컬)으로 이루어져 있다. 이들의 첫 데모 [Prism #1]가 라디오 전파를 타게 되는데 소니뮤직의 눈데 띄지만, 큰 성과를 이루지 못하고 독일 베를린 레이블 Studio !K7을 통해 첫 정규작을 발표한다. 이후 멤버 교체와 함께 유럽 투어를 마치게 되는데 때마침 리더 Chris James 가 DJ Shadow의 히트 앨범 [The Outsider]에 보컬로 참여하면서 그와 함게 20개국 80여 차례 월드투어에 참가한다. 최근 영국의 명문 레이블 닌자튠과 계약하면서 다시금 주목 받기 시작하는데, 2011년 출시예정 2집 [Matilda]에 수록될 싱글 [Ariel]의 뮤직비디오가 모션캡쳐를 이용한 비쥬얼로 큰 화제를 낳기도 했다. ....  ....
