CGV에서 해주는 아카데미 후보작 특별전에서 이 작품이랑 를 봤다. 또 최근 도 봤고 는 주차 못해서 빙빙 돌다가 영화 상영 시간 못 맞추고 15분쯤 지각했는데 보면서 계속 가스불을 껐는지 안 껐는지 걱정이 돼서 조금 보다가 나왔다. 정식 개봉하면 봐야지. 는 정말 최고였고 도 좋았다. 두편…...

나만 몰랐냐? 이거 3부작 중 1부작이래. 세상에. 백설공주 이야기 가지고 무슨 3부작이야ㅋㅋㅋ 정도로 만들 생각인가본데 그건 좀 아닌 듯. 우선 이 영화를 다 보고 난 후에 기억에 남는 캐릭터는 이블 퀸 밖에 없다. 샤를리즈 테론은 그녀가 왜 스타이면서도 오스카 수상자인지를 충분히 보여줬다. 미모면 미모, 연기면 연기 나무랄 데가 없었다. 이런 블록버스터에서도 끝내주는 카리스마로 백설공주부터 헌츠맨, 난쟁이들까지도 다 발라버렸음......

데이비드 마멧에 대한 존경심 때문에 미친듯이 찾아서 본 영화. 정말 기대만큼이나 멋졌다. 그가 연출한 작품은 아니고 같은 평작 스릴러를 만든 제임스 폴리의 작품이다. 출연자들 이름 좀 봐. 알 파치노, 잭 레몬, 알렉 볼드윈, 에드 해리스, 알란 아킨, 케빈 스페이시까지. 눈부시다, 눈부셔. 이들이 '먹어주는 5분-10분' 정도의 출연을 위해 딱히 누가 주인공이라고 말하기도 어려운, 흥행성은 전혀 없어 보이는 이 작품에 출연했다. 정말.....

미안하지만 이 영화 다 보고 그런 생각했다. 극장서 봤으면 큰일 날 뻔 했네, 하는 생각. 도 그렇지만 토니 길로이 감독은 쭉쭉 밀고 나가야 할 때 이상하게 멈칫, 하는 그런 느낌이 있다. 각본이 후졌던 건 아닌데 연출 쪽에서 그런 것 같다. 과감하게 돌진해야 하는데 이 정도면 뭐 괜찮을 것 '같기도' 하다, 는 식의 같기도 신념으로 찍는 느낌 말이다. 토니 길로이 감독 본인이 '난 죽자사자 찍는 거거든요?' 하.....

레이디 인 워터를 본 후 다시는 샤말란 감독의 영화를 극장서 보지 않겠다고 단언했었다.
