Every day I see your face I wish I'd stayed Don't even know what made me run away It's just the way I play the game
Emotional is not a word I'd use to explain myself But now I'm down upon my knees Baby please take me back
I don't want to be in love but you're makin' me Let me up I've had enough. Girl you're breakin' me
Here I am just half a man standing alone Feeling like I lost my only chance At happiness when I let you go
I don't want to be alone thinkin' bout you girl I got nothin' left to hold in this lonely world
[Solo]
The first time my heart was ever touched Was the day I lost your love I can feel it in my flesh and blood My soul can only take it so much
So there it is. Why can't you give us one more try You and I could find a way to live If you let me in one more time
I know you lost your faith in me but I still believe Can I make you understand, can I make you see That I'm desperate for your love and it's breakin' me
The grass always looks greener On the other side of the fence, yeah, yeah But the dog over there might be meaner On the other side of the fence, yeah, yeah The car in the driveway looks longer on the other side of the streat, yeah, yeah Does anything ever go wrong there On the other side of the fence, yeah, yeah Stay in your own yard Play in your own chard Cause everything (that) glitters realy ain't gold The future always looks brighter On the other side of the tracks, yeah, yeah Everybody wants to go over But they don't want to come back, no, no They live like Kings and Queens On the other side of the town, yeah, yeah They're gonna have to make room for me there On the other side of the town, sho nuff Jealousy's a cold thing It's ice wather in your veins All it brings a bitterness an pain Everything (that) glitters really ain't gold Instead of worrying bout what you are not Gotta make the most what you got Instead of keeping up with Mr. Jones Betta look out for your own Stay in your own yard Play in your own yard Be happy in your own yard Cause everything (that) glitters realy aint gold
I was a young man in a hurry I didn't stop to think The next thing I knew I was in trouble - deep trouble Then I remember what aunt Linda used to tell me back in the day The words that she said are still in my head, she said,
The choices you make might be mistakes But it's never too late to turn around, turn around The road that you take might lead you astray But don't be afraid to turn around, turn around
I knew a young man named Charlie, He went and lost his way Now he's in prison, cold prison No chance to escape They gave him new clothes and a Bible, and the Word he did read Now the four walls can't keep him 'cause Charlie is free
The choices you make might be mistakes But it's never too late to turn around, turn around The road that you take might lead you astray But don't be afraid to turn around, turn around
You might be in trouble You might be running But it's never too late to turn around 'cause as long as you're still breathing There'll always be enough time To make the right decision before you die, because
The choices you make might be mistakes But it's never too late to turn around, turn around The road that you take might lead you astray But don't be afraid to turn around, turn around
Put on that smile it's time to face another day Tell everybody everything's okay How much longer can you play this game Tell me how much more can you take I see the broken I see the heart you try to hard to hide I see the tears you hold back in your eyes I send this song that you might realize You're not alone and I'll be there chorus* Like the sun that continues to shine Just be under the clouds in the sky And if ever I seem to be so far away Remember My Love Remains I see the fear in (....?) Could live your dreams but you never follow through Open the door I'll come in if you want me to You're not alone and I'll be there chorus* Like the sun that continues to shine Just be under the clouds in the sky And if ever I seem to be so far away Remember My Love Remains If for there one mountain sees or any stars above You Will Love know that when all of these cease to be what were remaining is you and me forever and ever and ever you're not alone and I'll be there chorus* Like the sun that continues to shine Just be under the clouds in the sky and trouble comes into your life even your best friends leave your side And you can't find the strength to fight Well please keep this one thing in mind and whenever it feels like I'm so far away Remember My Love Remains

I used to live my life in fear Was worried all the time From waking up to laying down I had no peace of mind The world became a darkened place A struggle without end Although bitter times those were The days that I had began to understand I was only a man
I grew up singing songs in church With questions in my mind Then turned my back and ran away From God who gave me life Then one night his presence fell I wept and shook and then I fell down and cried, Dear Jesus, rescue me again I understand I am only a man
And He said, What will it be now? Will you choose me or keep swimming up stream now? I've been inside your head hearing you scream out. Well here I am, just take my hand and I'll take out All of the pain and all of the fear All of the fear
I'll give you my burdens (I'll give you peace) All of my desires (I'll give you what you need) Oh, what about these chains, Lord? (I'll set you free) But they're so heavy (Lay them at my feet) I'll lay them at your feet Just promise you won't leave (I'll never leave) So where do I go from here, Lord? (Just follow me) (Just follow me) I'll follow you (Just follow me) wherever you lead Wherever you lead, wherever you lead
I remember in the days of old Doesn't seem that long ago It was... " Johnny you won't be nothing unless you do what you're told" Study medicine or study law And please put away the guitar The best you'll ever be is a local star at the local bar
But I went and did it anyway Family helping all the way Now I'm here today 5 records later So you can hear me say
Don't, let em tell you can't be Anything you wanna be Don't be deceived Anything's possible If, you will just believe Then you can succeed It might not be easy But anything's possible
What if old Ben Franklin Would of been frightened by lightning If he would of stayed inside then We'd still be in the dark
Martin Luther King Did some beautiful things All because he had a dream Just like you and me
Don't, let em tell you can't be Anything you wanna be Don't be deceived Anything's possible If, you will just believe Then you can succeed It might not be easy
Don't you know, it's gonna be sweat And some tears And some hard years best believe they'll be hurt And some pain Expect some rain
You're gonna make it if you try Keep your eye, on the prize You can take it You might have to work it, but it's gonna be worth it Don't let em tell you that you dont deserve it
Don't, let em tell you can't be Anything you wanna be Don't be deceived Anything's possible If, you will just believe Then you can succeed It might not be easy Anything's possible
I had to come back here one just one more time And try to trace the steps I left, left behind A fool's desire for just one final glance A fantasy that blinded me to the trap Suddenly something deep inside me longs to stay behind The only way I can keep from being torn apart Is if I can get you out of heart and out of mind
Such a lonely place to be (yeah yeah) Locked inside of all my memories Which once upon a time I held so dear (so dear) But now I see the truth becoming clear The boy that used to live here has gone away And now this man is standing in his place I think it's time for me to face this last goodbye You're out of heart and out of mind
I know it won't be easy Just one step at a time And with gods help I can move On with life
Heart is heavy Soul is thirsty Body's achin I am desperately in need of restoration I am ready for you to take me higher The only thing that I can do is keep on praying On my own I just can't get it right It doesn't matter how hard I try But with you I've become a much stronger man Getting on my knees puts me back on my feet again Load is heavy Too much accumulation These possessions that I have amount to nothing at all I am willing to hand over every one of them Cause they won't profit me anything in the end Never again: will I wander without you alone in the wilderness Never again: Never again Now that I understand
We will meet at the river We will be delivered of every chain Down into the water - children, mothers, and fathers in His sweet name To drown all our sins and come up again forever changed Never to return to the people we were before that great day We will patiently wait til we see His face And when he appears to wipe all our tears forever away Then we will be together in Heaven foever on that great day On that great day We will patiently wait til we see His face And when He appears to wipe all our tears forever away Then we will be together in Heaven forever on that great day On that great day On that great day On that great day
Standing on the edge of a bridge One step away from ending it all All the while you are wondering Does anyone love me at all? Listening to all the wrong voices Got you feeling broken and worhless I just thought you should know this Until you fulfill your purpose It's not over - for you and I It's not over - there is still time This one is for the prostitute The drug abused, homeless and destitute And anybody wanting to be rescued there is still time This is for the orphan who is all alone All he wants is to have a home Your earthly father may have left you But your Heavenly Father told me to tell you It's not over - for you and I It's not over - there is still time Someone loves you Someone hears you Someone feels you Someone can heal you Someone wants to see you through It's not over - for you and I It's not over - there's still time
Clouds, one by one, fill the sky Just like these tears that fill my eyes I know by now she ain't comin' back I watch my world slowly fade into black
Look out my window it's still rainin' Look out my window it's still rainin'
They say that time heals everything I've felt the pain that love can bring It don't get no better with each passing day Any hope I had is slowly slipping away
Look out my window, it's still rainin' Look out my window, it's still rainin'
I thought the morning would rescue me But the rain keeps falling endlessly, endlessly Sometimes I wonder what'll become of me There ain't much left of what I used to be Her love shone on me like the morning light Now here I am alone again tonight
Look out my window, it's still rainin' Look out my window, it's still rainin'
Second guessin' first impressions There you go again Rushing off in all directions Since I don't know when All day long you're building walls You're building walls all day Putting ceilings on your feelings When they should fly away
Don't you think it's time you quit it Don't you think it's time you admit it Your heart is more worthy of trust Than the thoughts in your mind that sit there gathering dust
Everything you're looking for You'll know when it's real You'll know when you've found it By the way you feel
Writing down your deepest emotions With your pen in hand Your piece of paper flew out the window You watched it try and land You felt bad as it flew out of sight A part of your heart alone in the night All of a sudden you didn't mind it When you pictured that lonely stranger that would find it
Everything you're looking for You'll know when it's real You'll know when you've found it By the way you feel
If being in love means waiting around So you can dance with me I am, I am If being in love means follow the leader Then this will have to be I am, I am
I am, I am Baby I am So in love with you I am, I am Gonna get you baby If it's the last thing I do
I used to think that a pretty face Meant more than what was inside I did, I did If being a good man means swallowing all my pride I will, yes I will
[Repeat chorus:]
I am the one who loves you I am the one who cares You could fly me to the moon If I would find you there All the riches in this world mean nothing Without you here Whoever, whatever, however, whenever, You need me I'm always here
Men killing their brothers Nobody wants to go down alone In this age of uncertainty
Love's worth more than gold I'd sleep outside your window If that would make you see That I'm the only one for you And you're the only one for me
This one might not ever be a single Just something on my heart I hadda' sing ya I hope they play this on the radio Gimme a chance to let somebody know That we can Change the world, one boy one girl One person at a time (in time)
Well I know your station's got to pay the bills And there's only so many slots to fill But I'm just trying to bring 'em something real And if FM won't, surely AM will & play Change the world, one boy one girl One person at a time Change the world one boy one girl One person at a time (in time)
Sure be nice to go triple platinum There's no guarantee it's ever gonna ever happen And if I can only reach one set of ears I know that I've fulfilled my purpose here to Change the world, one boy one girl One person at a time Change the world, one boy one girl One person at a time (in time)
The tar in the street starts to melt from the heat And the sweats runnin' down from my hair I walked 20 miles and I'm dragging my feet And I'll walk 20 more I don't care
And I'll wander this world, wander this world Wander this world, wander this world all alone
I'm like a ghost some people can't see Others drive by and stare A shadow that drifts by the side of the road It's like I'm not even there
And I'll wander this world, wander this world Wander this world, wander this world all alone
Well I've never been part of the game The life that I live is my own All that I know is that I was born To wander this world all alone, all alone
Some people are born with their lives all laid out And all their success is assured Some people work hard all their lives for nothin' They take it and don't say a word They don't say a word
Sometimes it's like I don't even exist Even God has lost track of my soul Why else would he leave me out here like this To wander this world all alone
And I'll wander this world, wander this world Wander this world, wander this world all alone
I have been to Memphis but I couldn't find no peace My soul is feeling restless and I need some relief I'm heading for the Delta, see what I can find I know the river holds the answers that'll ease my worried mind
Take me down to the levee where the women sing Lay me down like an angel with a broken wing Take me down to the levee where the river flows Gon' throw my blues off the levee and let them go
Well, I have been to Natchez, been down to Baton Rouge But the Delta keeps on callin' me no matter what I do
[Chorus]
[Solo]
I'm drivin' through the darkness, down Highway 61 Heading for the crossroads like the ones before me done

사랑하는 조니 랭의 1집 Lie to me
