Like humming (heungeol) a happy tune, the group Heung spirit plays music that captures the “excitement (heung)” and “spirit (eol)” of the Korean people. Through the encounter between gugak and music of various other genres, the group pursues a sound that creates a new kind of enjoyment while truly embodying the Korean sentiment of heung.
