2001년부터 2003년간 캐나다 유학생활을 했었던 보컬리스트인 빅터는 당시 지내던 캐나다 토론토에서 이미 국내에서는 접하기 힘들었던 해외 올드스쿨 하드코어 밴드들의 공연을 직접 체험하면서 본토에서 캐나다 친구들과 HANDS DOWN, ON THE BRINKS란 밴드를 결성하여 활동하면서 로컬씬에서 꽤 높은 지지를 얻어낸 경험이 있었다. 그때 당시 활동하던 밴드는 캐나다에선 큰 인기를 얻고 있던 하드코어 밴드인 NO WARNING, THE KILL DECIBEL같은 밴드들과도 같이 공연을 하는 등 활발한 움직임을 보인 밴드로 기억 되고 있다. 빅터는 그런 경험을 안고 2004년 귀국하여 THINGS WE SAY란 밴드를 결성한다. 이후 2004년 겨울 타운홀 레코드를 통해서 데모앨범을 발매하고 홍대 클럽을 중심으로 끈임없는 라이브활동을 이어나간다. 이후 2005년 미국 시애틀 출신의 하드코어 밴드인 CHAMPION의 내한공연, 일본의 하드코어 밴드인 LAST ONE STANDING 내한공연, 미국 보스턴 출신의 하드코어 밴드인OUTBREAK의 내한 공연등에 참가하고 또 크고 작은 무대에서도 꾸준한 라이브 활동을 갖고 있다. 2007년 8월에는 드디어 12곡이 포함된 “OUR DECISIONS”란 타이틀로 정규1집을 발매하게 되는데 발매와 동시에 벅스뮤직과 멜론 같은 온라인 스트리밍사이트에서 인디뮤직.그 중에서 하드코어라는 하드한 음악으로 차트 상위권에 진입하게 되며 사이월드 음악시음차트에선 2주간 1위를 기록하는등 하드코어팬들이외에도 많은 이들에게 강한 인상을 남기게 된다. 이후 홍대인근을 근처로한 활발한 라이브활동을 피로하며 2008년 1월에는 미국최고의 하드코어밴드인 TERROR의 한국투어와 3월 미국 DOWN TO NOTHING의 한국투어에 동참하며 강한 임팩트를 심어주게 된다. 그리고 6월 27일을 기해 전세계 발매되는 하드코어컴필레이션 앨범 “V/A – YOUTH CREW 2008” (POSOTIVE AND FOCUS RECORDS) 에 참여한 상태이며 11월에는 일본 동경/센다이/치바를 있는 서키트 투어가 예정되있는 상태이다. .... ....
